Liposuction For Male Breasts on the Rise ---------
LONDON, The number of men who have undergone liposuction
procedures to reduce their breast size substantially increased
last year, a British report said. The Daily Mail reported 177
men last year had the medical procedure conducted to lessen
the size of their breasts, three times the number who under-
went the treatment in 2003. Plastic surgeon Adam Searle said
the rise in the male liposuction is likely linked to increased
fat brought about through female hormones accidentally added
to Britain's waterways. "Men come along and say, 'I am in the
gym all the time. I have these lovely pecs but the fat on the
side of the flank will not budge,'" Searle said. "Some feel
the male breast can respond well to liposuction." With men
adding to the total number of liposuction patients in Britain,
a recent British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons
report revealed the procedure is the nation's fasting growing
medical practice. The paper said in 2006 alone, nearly 4,000
liposuction operations occurred in Britain
I know the article is on male breast augmentations however, the bigger problem is female hormones being dumped into the British waterways. Did anyone know about this accidental dumping?
Lap it up,
Nem-
Erm, in a word, no? lol
Its rubbish this topic was covered on today's Womans Hour on Radio 4. You would need vast quantities of hormones to affect male physiology on that scale. Moobs are caused by hormone problems, diseases, medication and obesity.
Well, I don't know, Goblin. This is just a personal observation, but I have noticed that our Britanic cousins here on the zone seem to have higher voices than other nationalities represented.
Now boys, don't take it wrong, and remember, no fair slapping like a girl.
Bob
LOL Bob. Yeah, the brits do seem a bit girly.
Hmm I haven't listened to any of them and I'd believe Radio 4 before many unsubstantiated conspiracy theories.
hmm I think someone needs to be a little more careful with what they put in the water. lol
wow! i hadn't really thought about it, but yes! i notice it now! the voice, that is.
You know, maybe it isn't the water. Do they eat many animal crackers across the pond?
Bob
*orders a bumper box of animal crackers, and chews some gravel for breakfast, saying, in a very deep voice*, lol, that was funny. good thing i drink pop when i go for the cold stuff.
